Irbec was in Amman between 15th and 16th October 2014
Prof. Dr. Yusuf Ziya Irbec attended the meeting onInternational Criminal Court and Regional Developments between 15th and 16th October 2014 in Amman.
National Movement Party (MHP) Antalya Deputy Prof. Irbec who as a Member of the Executive Committee of Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) and Vice Chairman of the Peace and Democracy Programme attended the meeting on the applications of the International Criminal Court in Rome Statute to discuss the regional developments jointly organized by the PGA and Jordanian Parliament held in Amman between 15th and 16th October 2014.
Parliamentarians from Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Somalia, Tunisia, Turkey and Yemen as well as the representatives of the EU and Italian Embassies, ICC, ICRC and the Center for Human Rights attended the meeting.
During the opening panel of this meeting Prof. Irbec and the Speaker of the Parliament of Jordan made a speech in conjunction with the International Criminal Court and the Regional Developments. In his speech, Prof. Irbec emphasised the importance of the Rome Statute System’s fight against impunity for the most serious crimes concerning the humanity.
